BLACKPINK is gearing up for their highly-anticipated second full-length album “BORN PINK“!
On August 24, YG Entertainment revealed that the four BLACKPINK members are currently working hard to film the music video for the upcoming album at a site in Gyeonggi province, commenting that the support and love from global fans have been a great strength to the group.
A representative shared, “All the songs in the album will write BLACKPINK’s new history, but the title track in particular will be a song that can shock global music fans. The music video will also raise the status of K-pop with a novelty that has yet to be seen.”
BLACKPINK has already showcased their global reach following the successful release of their pre-release single “Pink Venom.” Not only did the song sweep music charts all over the world, but “Pink Venom” also became the first Korean-language song to hit No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart, and its music video has been breaking records on YouTube.
